Driver Trainer – Help Keep Domino’s Moving Safely, Smarter and Better Every Day
At Domino’s, your skills, ideas and judgement really matter. As our Driver Trainer, you'll play a key role in how we deliver for customers and franchise partners, helping drivers perform at their best, championing safety and compliance, and shaping how we work across our transport operation. Based in Cambuslang, with support for our NAAS Ireland operation, you'll be the person who keeps standards high, builds confidence behind the wheel and helps our drivers deliver delicious, safely and efficiently.
What You'll Bring
This role is perfect if you're the kind of person who spots opportunities to improve things before anyone else does. You know transport legislation inside out, you're comfortable challenging when standards slip, and you enjoy helping people learn, grow and succeed. Whether you're carrying out driver assessments, coaching after an incident or delivering classroom training, you'll bring credibility, confidence and a genuine passion for helping others improve.
You'll have:
- A Driver Assessor qualification and Driver CPC National.
- An HGV C1 and C+E licence.
- Experience creating and delivering transport-focused training.
- Proven experience assessing drivers and coaching performance improvements.
- SAFED (Safe & Fuel Efficient Driving) trainer certification.
- Strong working knowledge of tachograph systems, driver hours and transport compliance.
- Experience using telematics and driver performance data.
- The confidence to build trusted relationships while maintaining high standards.
What You'll Be Doing
No two days look quite the same. One day you'll be carrying out on-road driver assessments, the next you'll be delivering classroom training, reviewing compliance reports or helping investigate incidents. You'll be a visible presence across the operation, supporting drivers and managers alike to create a safer, more efficient and more compliant transport function.
Here's what that looks like:
- Assessing drivers throughout the year, coaching safer driving behaviours, improving fuel efficiency and helping raise standards across the fleet.
- Delivering engaging training on Driver Hours, Working Time Directive, tachographs, manual handling, tail-lifts, new equipment and other key transport topics.
- Monitoring compliance, licence checks and driver records, providing clear reporting and practical guidance to drivers and operational leaders.
- Supporting post-incident reviews, new starter assessments and continuous improvement initiatives that make our operation stronger every day.
